Saudia Boeing 747 fleet history
Saudia operated 63 Boeing 747s across its history — five -200s, five -300s, 51 -400s and two 747-8s — as one of the largest 747-400 airline fleets, with cargo 747-400s still flying today.
Saudi Arabian Airlines, now Saudia, was one of the most prolific operators of the 747 in the Middle East, building a fleet of more than half a hundred 747-400s.
Saudia’s 747 fleet totalled 63 aircraft: 5 × 747-200, 5 × 747-300, 51 × 747-400 and 2 × 747-8. About 16 747-400s were in passenger service in 2014.

The passenger 747-400s were gradually withdrawn through the 2010s. The 747s operating today are cargo 747-400F, 747-400ERF and 747-400BDSF freighters, most run through ACMI leasing rather than as mainline Saudia aircraft.
