Live Boeing 747 Flight Map

Explore Boeing 747s currently detected in flight by the ADSB.lol receiver network. Start the map, select a plane, or search its registration or callsign. The count is the number of recent airborne reports with positions, not the world's total airborne 747 fleet.

Another way to watch live 747s: load ADSB.lol's public map below, filtered to 747 types with reported altitude above 0 ft. Loading it connects your browser to ADSB.lol and its map services, subject to the provider's privacy notice.

The external map stays blocked until you choose to load it. Its controls and update timing are supplied by ADSB.lol.

Coverage is incomplete. Only recent, positioned airborne reports appear. Gaps over oceans and areas without receivers are expected. Positions are reported, not predicted. This map is for interest, not navigation.

    What the map can show

The map includes reported 747-100, -200, -300, -400, -8, 747SR, 747SP, Dreamlifter and Shuttle Carrier Aircraft types when present in the source. Freighters and passenger aircraft share some type codes, so a type filter does not establish cabin use. Aircraft identifiers and type labels can be incomplete or incorrect.

The custom map excludes reports without coordinates, with a ground status or with positions older than 90 seconds when the feed is fetched. The shared feed is cached for up to 60 seconds. Positions are hidden when the feed becomes more than two minutes old. No straight-line position prediction fills coverage gaps.

The custom map fetches flight data through this website only after you press Start. The provider receives a server request, not a direct request from your browser. The world basemap is bundled locally. Map use does not require analytics or advertising consent. Live updates pause when this browser tab is hidden.

If the custom feed is unavailable, choose Load external live map to view ADSB.lol's public map inside this page. It starts with the same 747 type filter and a reported altitude above 0 ft. Its receiver coverage, freshness rules, controls and update timing belong to ADSB.lol. Our custom map pauses while it is open. Choose Unload external map to stop its requests.

The external map connects your browser directly to ADSB.lol and its map services. It stays unloaded until you choose to load it. See ADSB.lol's privacy notice before loading.

    Why some 747s are missing

Ground receiver coverage is uneven, especially across oceans and remote areas. A missing marker can mean unavailable reception, stale data, missing aircraft metadata or a landing. It is not evidence that the aircraft has stopped flying. There is no guarantee that a free receiver feed detects every airborne 747.

For fleet context, see the active 747 operators and aircraft registry. To distinguish models in photographs, use the variant identification guide.
